The Meraki Summer Internship Program for Architecture & Interior Design was created to identify students prior to the last year of their professional degree in architecture or interior design at an accredited institution who possess the design talent, work ethic, and enthusiasm necessary to become part of the Meraki team. The program provides practical experience in a professional architectural environment, enabling students to explore their areas of interest in the field of architecture and design.

Individuals with a strong interest in sustainable design strategies and documentation will also be considered for internship opportunities with our Sustainability & Building Performance team.

Program Requirements

The Meraki Summer Internship is open to students who are enrolled in an NAAB- or CIDA-accredited Architecture or Interior Design program at a U.S. institution.

Meraki will open internship positions shortly for the 2026 program, and selected candidates will be contacted by early March 2026 to schedule interviews. A selection committee will then recommend candidates for further consideration based on qualifications and fit for the available positions.

The length of each internship will be determined individually, taking into account the student’s availability, skills, areas of interest, as well as the firm’s project needs and other applicable requirements.
